Guest Comment: Tom and I wish to express our sincere thanks to you for your kindness to us during our stay in late October. Nothing was to much trouble, your welcome, the comfortable en suite bedroom to our breakfast. Each morning during our stay with you was outstanding the variety was excellent, plentiful and attractive including a lovely view across the bay. Being elderly, unfortunately we found the one way system to get out town very hard to follow having been familiar with Bangor before moving to England a number of years ago. Your thoughtfulness in taking the trouble to lead us out of town was greatly appreciated. Our lovely walks round the bay will be lasting memories and a very pleasant welcome bonus to our stay.

Guest Comment: We were pleased to find that our B&B was located on the seaside with a terrific view. What really made our stay beyond comfortable was our host, Pauline. She went above and beyond to, for example: connect us with a genealogist and provide a meeting space; made dinner reservations for us; did our online flight check-in; and arranged for a very reasonable transport to the airport in a Mercedes cab. In other words, she took a personal interest in us and did whatever was needed to meet our needs. All of this was topped off by a delicious breakfast.

Guest Comment: This was my third stay at Hargreaves House and like the previous visits it was absolutely fantastic and thank you very much Pauline. The attention to detail, the willingness to go the extra mile (give me extra bananas for my morning run) or get me green tea for breakfast makes such a difference and Pauline is a wonderful lady and the B&B is perfect. Lovely made beds, soft sheet and towels and gorgeous breakfast. And all this for a really reasonable price, I queried the bill because I thought it was not enough! The location is ideal, wake up in the morning and you're there on the right on the seafront and near enough but not to near to the centre of Bangor. I have family in N.Ireland but when I'm planning my visit I check Hargreaves House availability before my family....! Wouldn't stay anywhere else and cannot recommend it enough. Thank you and see you soon x

Guest Comment: Staying at the BnB for 3 days - Pauline, our host, treated us as if she had known us for years. Before we arrived she had sorted out transport and general needs for us. She goes above and beyond for her guests.
The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. The BnB is only minutes from the town centre and is right on the sea front so you can spend the evening sitting outside relaxing and watching the boats go by.
Breakfast was very nice and you could choose a time to have it giving you a nice lie-in if needed after a late night out.
We will be going back to Bangor again and most definitely staying at Hargreaves House!!

Guest Comment: This is my second stay at Hargreaves House and like the first it was fantastic. I was in a different room from last time and it was lovely, really comfy beds (slept like a baby) and lovely towels and robes. The breakfast was equally superb, fresh fruit, yoghurt, lovely fresh bread and the cooked breakfast topped it all off. Loved the presentation. Pauline didn't mind catering for special dietary needs and really went out of her way to help with our holiday- making table bookings in the evening and with her wealth of local knowledge, helped plan trips to make the most of our stay. The location is fab, close enough to walk into Bangor in the evening (and walk back!) but not too close so you can have a lovely walk along the beach first thing before breakfast. One last thing worth saying is I would really recommend it for a female staying on her own, its very safe, secure you are made to feel so welcome by Pauline. Thanks a lot, see you soon Pauline! xx

Guest Comment: Pauline cares a lot and does her utmost to make sure you don't miss anything you need. She has a warm personality and a caring attitude that shares a great interest in her guests. In addition Pauline is well connected in Bangor and the wider area, which makes planning and touring for Co. Antrim and Co. Down so much easier.
The place itself could not be situated any better, as the house is placed on the coast line of Bangor. My room had a beautiful arrangement and was better equipped than most of the hotel rooms I stayed in during my journey through Ireland.
I couldn't have asked for more and will definitely come again to Hargreaves House on my next 'return-trip' to Ireland.
